Boot Everyday Indulgence range

There's a 150 points voucher for this in the AC machine just now. The hand soap is £2.49 and the hand & body lotion is £2.69. think there's 3 or 4 different kinds . honey & almond, honeysuckle & gardenia (this is gorgeous) and another 2 can't remember, think one is cucumber and something.

Anyway, and this is the techie bit, if your christmas shopping night is this week you can buy 11 of each £2.49 x 11 = £27.39 + £2.69 x 11 = £29.59 = total £56.98 then use your 10% off total shopping voucher takes it down to £51.28 this then qualifies you for the 1200 extra points, so you'll get the 1200 plus the 150 points for each items 3300 = total 4500, and then use your double points voucher for another 408 points gives you a grand total of 4908 points on a £51.28 spend .

If you put one of each a hand soap and a body lotion together it would make a nice little present for teacher, nan, neighbour or whatever at a cost of 20p per present.

It does sound like a great idea, but do you definitely get 150 points per item (and not per transaction)?

If anyon's tried this, can you let us know?

    Thanks

I tried to use my double point voucher with my spend on xmas evening and till wouldnt do it - assistant did try, said when extra points available the till wont normally take off any extra point promotions.

but give assistant credit she was helpful and did give it ago, - found this before some stores the tills take points per item (so 3 items get 3 lots of advantage machine points bt using 1 voucher only) and some will only take 1 lot of points if you buy say 3 of one thing.

Think its a bit hit and miss. good calculations and offer if you can get it though Scotnan - well done
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

I managed to use my double points voucher and other vouchers also from the machine - 75 points for £10 spend, 250 points for buying no 7 product, £2 off for buying no 7 product etc.

I got the vouchers through the post too. You could have knocked me down with a feather, had my advantage card 3 years and never had diddly squat!!!!!!!!!!
I rang up about the christmas shopping events so im beginning to wonder if thats the reason! :j

Have just tried to use my 150 points coupon in Birkenhead store. They said it was per transaction only, not per item. When I checked my receipt the points had not been added on, when I went back and asked her about it, she said till had accepted it but agreed it had not been added on. Asked her to do it manually but she is not allowed. She said they do not add points on manually any more, although they do in other branches (have had it done). Asked for a refund as I only bought to get extra points.

No I hadn't phoned or anything. It was just a mailing through the door like the last lot of extra points vouchers that came through at the beginning of the summer.
