help finding a Old Mortgage provider

I used to have a mortgage several years ago 1980,with Mortgage Systems Ltd,
Fleet Aldershot Hants.
I cant find their phone number,this maybe because i think the got took over from Leeds BS, I need to contact them as i need a Notice of release,to claim a ex-gratia payment fron Alba Life:mad:

Anyone any info on this please.

Can't say I have ever come across them .. if the Leeds (perm) BS took them over then thats now part of Halifax or HBoS

If its Leeds Holbeck, then they now call themselves Leeds BS !!

If I'm honest my guess is you will find it hard to get anyone at this lenders that is aware of that trading name, -- you might be able to trace if you contract the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
