your both right, was just looking for some new inspiration which you have both given me, even if you win little things it's gotta be worth it, it's not like it's costing us anything to enter.

    cheers guys

My advice is : Keep on Comping! You will win! :D It sometimes takes a while and you do have 'dry' patches sometimes. But keep going, you never know what you'll win!:D

All the 1s uve been entering for 2 weeks might not have even ended yet. Think i was comping for bout 3 month before i won anything, but ive won lotsa good things steadily since. It just takes awhile to build up. And i enjoy it too so it's not a chore to keep entering for me.

Good luck. At 2weeks ur just a learner comper, u'll soon get wins coming in and be pro but it may be a few more weeks yet, good luck!! :D

persevere, dont give up, some competitions people take ages to let you know you have won or the prizes just turn up. Wins are like buses, none for a while then several at once

I have yet to won anything directly. Someone emailed me to offer me some tix on the day of an event and as I couldn't make it, I know I wouldn't have entered just for the tickets so it was probably a runner up prize that no-one else wanted.

I got offered the open tickets as the promoters emailed to all as they hadn't been able to contact any winners they selected by email, but I missed out on that by a couple of mins. :( Actually, looking at the weather, it might be a good idea not to go as it's freezing here and we're less than 45 mins from Birkdale!

I know it's annoying and it is disheartening but by the law of averages, you should win something soon. I don't enter comps for everything so that might also play a part in my win rate.

I've been comping for months and have had only two tiny wins... but I have faith that a biggie will come my way sooner or later! Fingers crossed for the ITV £52k... :)

arh well at least i'm not the only one to have won sweet f.a. so far. I will keep trying till I have won something as i'm determind to be rewarded for the hours I have put into entering so far and the damage being caused to my eyes by being in front of a computer screen for so long!
