Check out the improved functionality of FROOGLE (http://froogle.google.co.uk/) before opting for your favourite Internet price comparison site (Kelkoo, Pricerunner etc) when searching for consumables on the web.
They have added an extremely useful sort option (price: low to high) and it appears to return excellent results. All in all, a worthy addition to your shopping arsenal.

(I doubt it's advertising as the option has been there since it was launched quite a while ago)

No no, I don't work for Google. I have used Froogle many times to search for products, and I don't ever remember seeing the option to sort by price.
No matter, no harm done; at least I hope not.0
