Amazon Phone Number Required.

I have no idea where to post this as there does not seem to be a general forum.

I have just deleted a book from my order with Amazon because it was holding the whole delivery up, I thought this would then bring the delivery date forward but has in fact had the reverse affect and my lead time is now even longer.

I have emailed them to try and reinstate the book and get back my original delivery date but they are taking their time to come back. I would just like to call them to get it changed quickly.

Can anyone help.

Have just managed to find the number by going through saynoto 0870. So for anyone out there who needs a customer service number it is 0208 636 9451

thats great been trying to get hold of them by email for a week and no reply will go call them now, p.s my system crashed a month ago lost loads of my favorites can someone give me the link to SAY NO TO 0870 thanks

Have you tried to cancel the whole order and then just order the books that you do want - sometimes they can do this by email, well it worked for me once! Best to check that the delivery dates are still good on the things that you do want though. Good luck!

I called them. the csa agreed that by deleting the book with the long lead time it should have bought my order forward, anyway she sorted it out for me. Unfortunately now the order has arrived I have realised that two of the books I have ordered (Good Wives and Little Men) are for the more adult reader not an 8 year old girl (too many big word) so I am now going to have to try again.

Its not worth returning them because it will probably cost more in postage than they cost me.
