Wireless Surround Sound

Yes, this is what I want but at a decent price. I know Sony do it for a ridiculous price but as this is MSE can anybody help me find a wireless surround sound system that won't break the bank please?
I haven't got one!

  • I'm looking for similar but not seen anything at all. Dunno how the speakers are powered, are they battery operated or do they have to be hard wired. If they are battery, do they use a lot of power?

Steve, I assume they plug in to an electrical socket. I have something similar for a stereo but want the proper surround sound for the dvd. I've seen some on ebay from a guy in Germany but I'm not sure whether to bid or not. I'll send you a link if you're interested?

I have a Phillips system with wireless rear speaker. We have wooden floor in the lounge so I didn’t want wires on show. The speakers plug into the mains and also into a receiver box that receives signals from another box plugged into the back of the DVD player.

The system came from Currys and cost about £300.

    Happy shopping!!!
