Thanks all, especially IA - you offer wonderful support and I "heart" your new siggy. What more could you ask for out of life.
Well, I spoke with someone from the National Debtline and my choices are (at this present moment) a self-managed payment plan or bankruptcy.
I'll still keep the appointments to view these properties today and take a peek at the BR board (eek) to see how people coped with their situations.
Freezer now making 'wet' sounds, so hope I don't come home to a flooded kitchen.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

If you let the bank take the house for whatever, then could you then go BR to clear the rest? Just thinking aloud, I don't know much about BR.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Not much advice to offer Suzy, but wanted to say I'm sorry you are in such a crappy situation, and I think you are very brave to still see that being fit and well is the most important thing (because it can be easy to forget that sometimes, when everything is getting on top of you).
Could you put some towels down round the freezer, just in case?
If your mortgage company are taking more than you can afford, can you cancel the direct debit, and set up a standing order for your usual monthly repayment (plus anything you can afford towards the arrears)? I don't know if that's the right thing to do or not, but you wont be getting any further behind with your mortgage that way, and if they did try to reposess, as others have said, a judge would most likely suspend the reposession order as long as you can meet your normal payments and make some inroads into the arrears."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
