    They come up quite big, width wise. The shoes also have a gel insole. The shoe is designed to be worn with or without this insole, thus inhancing the life of the shoe. My daughter has an insole underneath the gel insole! This is how the assistant said a lot have to be fitted, as they do come up wide. However as they grow you can remove them and the shoe will last longer. DD is very happy and the shoe does not feel/seem clumpy.
