TV Licence

Please move if in wrong place.

Basically, our licence expires end of the month. I do not understand how they operate their DirectDebit scheme. They mention 6 months ahead of payments then 6 after? What exactly does this mean? Then they talk about paying monthly?

If you pay by DD What is the arrangement?

Cheers,
Ben ;)

If I remember correctly basically the first 6 months, you pay about £20 ish which goes to paying for the current licence. Then for the next 6 months you pay £10ish towards buying your next licence, so by the time it is up for rewenel you'll have paid for half of it, to the next 6 months you pay of the remainder for that year, then the next 6 months goes towards the nexts years licence and so on.
I find it a much easier way to pay for it.
