Afternoon!
mine was very quiet and relaxed. ate too much so went for a long walk on the beach with the dog so i don't feel as guilty about it now lol!0 -
awwww yay for dog walking!
Soon that'll be me!!!
Yeah we had a chilled one as well, saw DH's parents and brother and nieces and nephews and then back to my parents for a nice sedate afternoon.
I learnt how to knit from my Nan, so going to keep on practising....
Got an electric blanket for xmas too! WAHEY.... so no chilly bed in the cottage.Got some lovely bath stuff, lots of dvd's from DH and bits of pieces, so was very happy....
DH is moving all our furniture over on sunday, and then just got to wait to being Gordon home...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
My sister's been teaching me how to knit this xmas too! working on a nice warm scarf. it's going to take a while but its looking pretty good!
Am being very domesticated this week i've made 2 loafs of bread today and mince pies are baking in the oven right now too
I finally found a dress for the wedding next year in a sale online! half off so saved £40! yay!0 -
ooooooooooooooooooooooh get you Nigella!!!
Well done on the dress as well...
Poor DH has really hurt his back so he's snuffling on the sofa next to me with a throw and hot water bottle on his back...
Just checked my dooyoo, and im up to 49110k.... so didnt quite make 50k by xmas..... oh well...
Checked all my accounts as well and they are all looking good for the next month. Have to re-jig some direct debts etc, as we need to cancel out SO for our rent on current place, and set up a new one for the 8th.
Annoyingly A&L have closed their branch in our city centre and DH's card for his account is only a cash card so we need to visit a branch to sort out all the payments etc.
Also need to set up my £50 savings/puppy fund that Im going to do, as well and being ultra stringent and money saving from this point on.....
No more stupid spending!

My aim is to be at 50000 by the end of January -currently at 18000 ish so a fair bit of work to do - have just put a request in for me to review my Thorntons choccy selection :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hello all
The big move is happening tomorow and as such, we will be without broadband service for the next 2 weeks!
Tragic I know!!!
Just wanted to say hope everyone has a fab new year's and you have all made my life that little bit rosier with your kind words and friendly banter, and I wouldnt be where I am today if it wasnt for your support and love.
Am really looking forward to the upcoming year and all the debt busting that goes with it....
Love to you all
