Was in Tesco Extra at Silverburn last night and noticed that new self scan checkouts have been installed (for the second time - this store had them when it first opened, but they were quickly removed and replaced by basket only checkouts with a CSA).
It appeared that they had just been put in (and indeed they were not there when I was in store earlier in the week) and I don't think they were operational yet (although I was in at about midnight, so could just have been that they had closed them).0 -
Thought it worth while bumping this thread forward:
Tesco Rutherglen has got 6 self service tills installed about the same time Silverburn was.
Argyle Street Metro has now closed and never had self service tills.
Glasgow Argyle Street Express (behind Central Station) has got two installed as has Yorkhill Express.0
