  • Weller, I am so deeply sorry, I hope somehow you know that tonight there are people all across the country thinking of you, Andy and your children. I hope the love I see in this thread and the love I send also somehow gets to you.

    I will pray every night.

    much love

    Oh Weller ...

I am so sorry to hear about your beloved Andy..after such optimistic news the other day....my heart goes out to you and your family. I have posted this poem once before on MSE...and hope it will provide some comfort where my words can not. You are much loved...by all of us here on DFW..and we are all sending out as much strength and love as we possibly can to you at this time. Please don;t hesitate to contact any of us if we can help....after what has happened...we all feel so helpless.

    The Uncompleted Tapestry
After a bereavement when the last word has been spoken
The tapestry is laid aside, the thread of life is broken
The growing pattern that evolved out of the worst and best
Can never be completed now, unfinished it must rest
The hand that draws the needle can no longer draw the strand
But somewhere on the other side a new design is planned.

And you now left alone must take the skein of mingled hues
The crimsons and the violets, the scarlets and the blues
And start to work upon the uncompleted tapestry
Not the same, but different – and lovely it could be
With glowing tints of memory to give a bright relief
Like threads of fire embroidered on the canvas of your grief.

Thinking of you all at this sad time with much love

Like others am a lurker on here, I just could not read and leave though, without saying how sorry I am to read of your loss.
I have no words that can even begin to help, but reading through this thread, really highlights the support offered by these wonderful guys.

My thoughts are with you and your family tonight.

Weller I may not have known you very well, but I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss.I know it is small comfort just now but at least your husband passed peacefully with you by his side.
I hope you can draw strength from the love everyone is sending to you,and remember we are ALL here for you.
Just give me a shout if there is anything I can do for you
    Love and hugs
