Called in to Tesco today and all but the 25-packs had a price on the shelf. I took one to the help desk and asked the women to check the price for me and she confirmed they were £5.97 each. Another woman on the desk said to her "are they not on special offer?" - "no" she replied, "the offer has just ended"
Just my luck !!
I'll have to watch out for any other supermarkets doing BOGOFs on discs - I seem to recall Morrisons doing a BOGOF on Memorex discs a while back. :whistle:0 -
worth checking regularly, bought 10 pack of dvdr and got one free for £5.97 the other week!!!!
they seem to have bogof on the discs very very regularly0 -
there seem to be loads of cheap cdr's available on the net, worth doing a check0

Yeah, blankdicshop are as cheap as anywhere but because they're quite bulky, you're always going to be stung for delivery (that's why I usually look out for BOGOF offers in the supermarkets):dc2447 wrote:No cheaper than svp
SVP: 50 pack of Tuffdiscs = £3.98
but once you add on the delivery it goes up to £9.26 !!!!!!!
Play.com are quite good because their prices all include delivery so you can get a 50 pack of Maxell CD-Rs for £8.99 delivered

Managed to get some myself and wish I hadn't!! Lots and lots of coasters. Have wasted about 10 discs so far. You have to burn at 8 speed or so to get a decent chance of copying.0

Look out for any computer fairs in your area, normaly costs a pound or 2 to get in but you can get 100 DVDs for about £16.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

PS If anyone is after the new 4x speed dual layer verbatim dvd-r discs then they have them here the cheapest I think for a 5 pk £19.59 inc delivery. (Only for dual/double layer drives)
