Looking to take a holiday in August with my family.
We have a 4 yr old girl and so thinking centreparc.
Has anyone been and if so recommend easiest and quickest way to get to one?
We have young baby also and so don't fancy driving for hours and hours.
Thinking a flight and then hire a car.
Thanks

I used to live near the one at Longleat, Wiltshire, which is about an hours drive from Bristol Airport. You can get to Bristol from Belfast International with EasyJet but book early for decent prices. Use the MSE Flightchecker and expect to pay around £20 per person.
I haven't stayed at the Centerparcs, because I only lived 5 mins down the road, but I've been to the other half of the forest, which is open to the public, many times walking and cycling and it really is beautiful. As an added bonus Longleat Estate and Safari park is quite literally next door and well worth a visit. The Safari park is where they film Animal Park on the BBC with Ben Fogle and that other one (I forget her name).
I hope that helps. If you do decide to go there then let me know and I'll tell you about a perfect place for a picnic with magnificent views across Longleat Estate. A favourite spot for us on a sunny Sunday afternoon.0 -
That's great info. I'll definitely look into Longleat.
