BT launch party

Just an update on the BT launch party tickets I won...

Went to the party last night, there was a free bar of wine, coke, beer or orange juice. Outside Aldo Zilli did a bit of cooking but food was mostly basic canapes being bought round. There was a goal set up which people could take penalties against Peter Shilton, if they scored they received a t-shirt or mints Inside there was music & a few diff rooms set up.
There were a few celebs and we had quite an enjoyable evening until we left - on the door they were giving out 1 or 2 goodie bags to each person containing a phone but as we were comp winners we weren't entitled to one; the girl's attitude stank as she handed us one and said "I'll let you have one between you" :mad:
I don't appreciate being treated like that and wouldn't go to another BT party if they paid me!! (sorry, I know that's not good Money-saving!)

Congratulations on the win, sorry about the jobs worth girl, they are not all like this at parties etc.

You should email the organisers of the comp to let then know. I imagine they wouldn't be happy that you're left with a negative feeling about their product (if nothing else, they might employ different people next time).

Yeah i woulod email them too, just say that because you won it through a comp shouldnt mean you just treated differently. You might find yourself with some goodies. Hope u get a result from them

Yeah, I thought that too , but I don't think that should be the reason to let them know (just a possible added bonus ). The OP shouldn't have been treated that way and the organisers should know about it.

Thanks for all the advice, I wasn't sure if I was peeved for no reason but those other people are no better than me just because they're from the press or famous
I'll e-mail them and post the outcome (if any!)

well done and send them a email it dont matter if you won the prize you should still have the same rights as the others

well done, shame about the person on the door - its always worth an email even if it just lets the promotors know what happened etc
