Asda - Chip Shop Style Curry Chips - 10p

Noticed these in the Morley (Leeds) Asda tonight - apparently a 'new' item (so the package says) but surely priced wrong at 10p for a 750g bag?
They are advertised as "chunky chips with a curry batter coating" (suitable for vegetarians).
Best before on the pack I got is October 2006, hunt them down in the frozen section, top cabinets above the normal chip selection
(Hope this isn't a repost, I searched - it's my first bargain if not!)
