Got a bit of a problem.....Got a letter last week ....going 36mph in a 30mph area....3 points and £60.....or attend a 1 day speed awarness course for £90 with no points.....so i decided to send the £90 off to book the course ...just got the letter tru today it said on the course i will need to read a number plate at 150 feet.....i can do about 100 feet..........the problem is the course is this Friday...............anyone know where i can get cheap specs quick ?

If you can read at 100 feet your vision isn't too poor.

If you have a current prescription and old frames take the prescription and frames into vision express and for the cost of their cheapest lenses and a fee for reglazing it shouldn't be too expensive. Go for the cheapest single vision plastic lenses. Avoid any upselling.

Alternatively get a prescription and get a reglaze.
