Thanks everyone - some fab ideas! And thanks for all your kind wishes - mum and baby doing ok although it was DH who took the phone call so he's not much good at getting all the details.

Unfortunately we live a couple of hours away otherwise I'd be rolling up my sleeves and helping out with the boring stuff so that they can concentrate on their new bundle!

Hmm might use the Waitrose code in this weeks e-mail to send them some nice food and wine as well seen as I can't drop round.
