Hi everyone, this is my first post on this thread.

I have been trying to place a bet on one of the pigsback jackpots but I keep getting this message-
Sorry, your account has either not been validated or has not been active long enough (10 days) to enter this jackpot.

Not really sure why they will not let me place a bet as I've been a member for ages and have had my account validated when I ordered some vouchers. Has anyone got any ideas why it won't let me place a bet?

Thanks in advance.

Send them an email at postmaster@pigsback.com
or memberservices@pigsback.com

and tell them you have been a member for a long time and have already validated your account. So there must be a glitch that is preventing you from entering the jackpot. icon7.gif

If youre a favourites person Id pick a different race Millards lad has better odds and would stand a good chance too. Mortat, and molly at 1/20 in same race too better again. Thats 4 favourites in one race.

Hi, Claire. Nice to "see"you! I still hang around, but don't post much any more. Nowamumandskint occasionally posts. P178 posts sometimes. But by and large, the "oldies" have fled. (Erk! Hope I've not forgotten anyone!! Apologies if I have!)

Jules is a moderator on the paidtoshop forum, and so has little time to spend on here.

As you'll have seen, nothing much has changed on the PB threads!

Hello there my dear, nice to see you're still lurking about on here.. at least there's a few names i will recognise then. Hadn't done pigsback in a while as i was fallen out with them with the lack of points available haha. Hopefully things will have changed for the better a little bit though so i'm giving them another go.

As for the pb threads, is it a case of different people same old stuff?

Thank you! Not sure if I'm a lurker. Always sounds a bit threatening.

There are very few points around, but as P178 says, Racecaller is fun, whether you use the tips kindly offered by others or try to pick out your own winners.

As for your last question, yes, very much so, and I suppose that's why most of the oldies have gone elsewhere, though many went over to the matched betting, where the gains are potentially so much bigger.

My own interest dwindled when the crossword went - in both senses - pointless.

One poster who hasn't shown his face for ages is Funnyguy. :) On the other hand, we have been "enjoying" the many inflated egos of Ben Doone, who started off as a new, creative, imaginative poster, but who, unfortunately, eventually just got on our wicks!
