well, i won't bother putting a bet on the jackpots again i think. it doesn't seem worth the risk of losing points to get zip all back.

5 clickthroughs for me this morning though. :T
You usually do get something back. I bet 50 points on Lee to win the Apprentice and got 160 back, gain of 110. The problem with this one was Nicole was such a favourite to go - 94% of the public voted her out - apparently the highest vote recorded. So if hardly anyone bet their PiggyPoints on Sara or Lisa, there are no points to be gained.
Try again when it's not such a certainty. But beware, you could lose your points. Lol!!!
Don't wait for the storm to pass

hmmm, when you put it like that, i suppose i might consider betting a smaller amount like 50 then. if you got 160 back then that seems worth it and i wouldn't mind losing 50 points as much. cheers :beer:0 -

Jacpot BB - for the eviction of Nicole I have put bet of 100 , after winning received the same 100 points and I think its not fair...Is it worth contacting piggy abt this?
nope its a gamble and the gamble didnt pay off.. they might even say they cancelled this bet as they have done in the past therefore you only get your stake back..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -

I was probably right then in what I said before, about PB taking a 20% cut. Basically, they decided that instead of taking a 20% cut, they would pay out all stakes. If you read my previous post, you will see that if we had been paid out under the PB rules, we would have made a loss on our stake on this occassion, so its perhaps a good thing we got our points back! The lesson here is to either oppose the really short priced ones (she was 1/66 to go with the bookies) or just avoid them altogether.0
