Personally as somebody who seldom posts on this board but is an avid reader I think this has gone way too far, and IMHO the main person who is fuelling the arguments is indelacio. There are a select few who have replied to you in a way you feel you are being got at but that is no reason to be abusive to the entireties of this board by calling them idiots.

Racecaller will not be pigsback related by the end of the year, but until then it is very much a way of people earning extra piggy points. 10p to your self may not be important but for some of us every penny counts. By all means when pigsback and racecaller are no longer related have a seperate racecaller thread but why fix something that isnt broken.

This thread is all about the discussion of pigsback and piggy point related topics, mentioning winners, tips and showing appreciation and statistics is part of that.

I don't use Racecaller and I don't mind people posting tips, it actually got me thinking I might give it a try one day. it is also quite nice to see people giving tips and people celebrating a win. Adds a little variety.

I don't however like having to scroll through pages of arguments about if there should be a seperate thread or not.....

Surprised to see the discussion is still going, havent had chance to read it all but as I mentioned before have just joined Racecaller and can now see the advantage of the Racecaller points. Having said that maybe it would be a good idea for the thanks button to be used rather than several posts thanking the tipster. I dont think the tipsters would be offended by being thanked in this way or do you disagree?

I didn't much want to post on another thread because a) I think racecaller (tips and results for sure) are very much pigsback related and many, many people have benefitted from being made aware of it & following tips, and b) I don't like being told what to do just to conform, and so as not to upset someone's rosy little world.

Anyway, having waded through pages of arguments..... I'm going to post racecaller stuff on the other thread (alone).

I will still be tipping /notifying of results - as much as I'm annoyed it's not fair on everyone to simply stop. Hopefully this will pacify the whingers and put the arguments/bickering to bed.

I'm also not too keen on being labelled an idiot along with many others. Having a bad day, or arguing with a few people doesn't excuse it either.
