Going to court tomorrow

Hi all,
Iam off to court tomorrow to declare BR.

I have double checked my paperwork which CAB have helped me with, and just this morning i phoned the coop for a bank accout which ive been accepted.
Coop said it would take 3 days to set up the account so it will be after i have gone to court and declared my BR, hoping it wont cause a problem.

My telephone has not stopped ringing with debt collectors and i have ignored the calls but as iam going to court in the morning should i speak to them today and tell them that iam declaring myself BR tomorrow? As iam thinking this will stop the calls ?

Thanks all

the calls might take a little while to stop once you go BR.....all depends on how long it takes the OR to inform them

once your BR if any of your creditors call just give them your XXX/2008 court number (on your Br order) and the court & day you went BR & that should be enough...dont get into an argument etc with them as once your Br its the ORs problem NOT you

Our post is being redirected from the old house and most of it goes straight into the bin cos it's from previous creditors - strange feeling I must admit.
