Not sure if a win or not

I have just had a call from Love Film online to say I have won 1 months free film selections.............. but to gaurentee return of the films they require my card details.

So I say that how am I guaranteed not to be charged he says cancel before end of month so I say it's only a free trial then.

He then says he will give me six weeks free but same must cancel before end so not wanting to sound ungrateful I say oh thank you very much.

Then he says i have to set up online access to claim my free films and asks for my e-mail. I say surely if I entered an online comp you already have that he says no and says you don't really want this prize do you and hangs up:whistle:

Now have I just turned down a genuine prize (oops!) or have I just saved myself £3.99 per month?

I don't remember a comp for this but does anyone know if there was or not?

No, they do this. Someone rang me to say I entered a comp on there and offered me a free months trial. I fobbed him off telling him we were going on holiday and he left it.

Sneaky marketing if you ask me.

This is just a promo not a prize, when I was with love film practically every time I got a film they sent me gift vouchers to give to people ranging from £20-£50 worth...
    Sorry :(

I was with lovefilm but stopped when I changed my card details, they are not easy to cancel, they then bombarded me with emails, I ignored them all until they finally stopped ;)
What we see depends mainly on what we look for
