scammed by zavvi direct "READ THIS"

I placed an order stupidly with zavvi direct on the 9th of june for a wii fit board for my daughter. I emailed twice and received an email that they will be getting stock on the 20th of june and i would receive mine in 4-5 working days. It is now the 14th of july and still ive received nothing. I went back to the website and was gobsmacked to see it had been removed due to copyright laws. I have emailed the email address's and rung the phone numbers advertised but suprise surprise, ive had no answer. So i did my own investigating. First of all i saw this website and saw how many people this Paul Clayton of zavvi direct has ripped off, then i went on another website to find that protx have alot to do with zavvi direct. So i rung protx and they told me they have nothing to do with zavvi direct since they closed there account. So i rung trading standards, they told me to ring a place called companys house, so i did, and companys house told me as zavvi direct is a limited company they can tell me if it has gone bust, and they confirmed zavvi direct has not gone bust! So i rung my local police station, told them everything and they gave me a crime number and told me to call sussex police, also as i used my debit card to ring my bank to cancel my card and ask to claim my money back. So i rung sussex police and spoke to a police officer who knew all about zavvi direct and paul clayton. He took my name, address and phone number and the officer who is investigating this scam will be in touch. So yes guys if you have orderd the same from zavvi direct you have been scammed too. I will gladly give you the details of the crime number you need to quote and sussex police station number and you will add to a very long list who have also been ripped off. SUSSEX POLICE STATION 08456070999 and the crime number you quote is CC1/103413/08. You might not need to qoute the crime number because the police man i spoke to knew all about it so just added my name to the list. I must stress that zavvi direct is NOTHING to do with virgin megastores aka zavvi entertainment. Thats why plenty of people including myself have been sucked in by this fraudster as we thought it was virgin. Thats why zavvi direct website has been removed because they have tried to copy the name zavvi entertainment aka virgin. My bank have given me a dispute number and told me they will refund me and make an investigation themselves. I am so mad at people like this but the worst part for me is i got this for my daughter whos birthday is on the 20th, this sunday and she will have to wake up to no presents, as im a single parent of 3 kids working part time struggling everyday to survive. So i hope everyone who has had this done to them gets in contact with the police and makes paul clayton and the rest of the fraudsters involved pay for what they have done to good honest working people, and i hope everyone is lucky in getting there money back, good luck xx
