I'm a 22 year old mum of 2 with a self employed partner... the credit crunch has hit us really hard and were really struggling financially, we use mysupermarket.com and we have the cheapest energy rates going but we have no money at all and i mean nothing i need help on ways to save what little we do have, but bearing in mind my partner has not had a decent weeks work in over 5 months and we are well and truly struggling, i have asked my dad for some financial help but dont want to have to rely on anyone for help i want to try to do this on my own, its so difficult i cant work as my children are 3 and 13 days old so im at home with them all day, the home work i have looked at all ask for money and there's nothing more i can think of to do.

The best thing to do is to post on the Debt-Free Wannabe section of the site. They will provide you with a lot of useful information such as how to reduce your outgoings. They will also advice you to post your SOA (Statement of affairs) - this effectively shows your current financial position listing all of your income and outgoings.

First step is to go to the Debt-Free Wannabe section of the site.
Then just click on the blue oblong on the left hand side conatining the text 'New Thread'. It'll be the same procedure as you performed to create this thread.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0
