Thanks Galtizz - but it will stink of turps which is one of the reasons I want the nice soap! :D

General note; strong smells of most kinds can be greatly reduced if not eliminated altogether by rubbing toothpaste (cheapo is effective as branded) on the affected area(s) and leaving for 15 seconds. Wash as normal with warm soapy water.

Just try it after garlic, onions, painting etc.

    It really can work.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

    If you find it:-

I always keep soap that I've bought for at least 6 months.
It's drier and therefore lasts longer than newer softer soap (a tip my late Mum gave me). Even better keep it in the airing cupboard if you have to "fast-track" a couple of bars.

Pro Soc - the original thread is 14 years old and the last post is almost 11 years old so you may not get a response from these posters.

I can see you are new so welcome to MSE. If you find a post you are interested in and want to ask a question but it is a few years since anyone posted on it, it might be worth starting a new thread rather than resurrecting an old one.

On some of the boards (not this one because they are all lovely) you can sometimes get sarky comments when you do that.
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!
