Our text services for mobile/cellular phones are charged on a reverse billed SMS basis. The client pays their operators normal text charge to send a text to us and is charged at a Premium Rate to receive the return message. If a UK phone is being used outside the UK on a “roaming” basis addition costs to the operators standard text charge and the premium rate charges show below may apply. These services are only available from phones operating on the following UK networks: Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3, Virgin and O2. The charge (TEXT MOBILE to 81456) is £3.50 per message received. THIS IS NOT A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE.
From the competition boards basic rules
2. Free Competitions Only. This is a not a place to advertise competitions you have to pay to enter. I will accept limited cost text message type competitons (though frankly they're usually naff apart from in special circumstances) where they cost up to £1.50 to text to enter, but generally I would say make sure they are free.0 -
