Best people to ask would be CCCS as they will tell you. I dont personally think it would be a problem but they will be able to tell you for sure.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

It is generally jobs that are regulated by the FSA that are affected. Do you have a HR department, if so give them a ring and ask a general question anomously. Also check your contract.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Good point! Im not studying yet, but i do intend to, when I do it would be with CIMA and I checked their website - they will take students who are / have been bankcrupt! TaBankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -
Hi Purplekylie,
You've beaten me to it.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
With ACCA, CIMA & AAT any student or associate has to face a discilpinary hearing if they make an arangement with creditors, or declare bankruptcy; providing there is no evidence of fraud or negligence then there are no problems with continued membership and practice certificates.
I couldn't find anything on the ICAEW website and I think my membership fell by the wayside a long time ago, so no chance of making some subtle enquiries.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thanks Richard, at least the fact that they have made these decisions shows that I am not the only one daft enough to want to be an accountant after going bankcrupt!Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790
