    hello all

not had chance to read right through the thread, will catch up this weekend!

just popping in to say hi. my bruises are improving and i'm feeling almost ok again now after my fall. am gonna phone the landlord and ask for a proper handrail on the stairs!

you may remember me mentioning my sister's amazing patient who was a wonderful fun guy and an inspiration to us all - he sadly died on Tuesday. Everyone is very very sad of course as he was such a ray of sunshine, such an example to all of us (me especially) who moan about so much when he never complained despite being paralysed in his mid 20s.

better go as friend picking me up to go to ikea. love and hugs to all!

Rach - don't use that kind of language on this board....you'll get barred. You know... the four letter one beginning with I and ending in A!!! Seriously though, hugs about your bad news xx

I've done 'bits'. The world is still wobbly and the ground is made of sponge. I've done little bits of S/S. I've managed three lots of washing and sat at the allotment for an hour. I sound and feel like a little old lady!!!

    Hugs to everyone xx

    Good evening!

Just a quick one from me. Not had a chance to read the thread or get much done apart from the bathroom and daily tidy round. Too tired from work and up again early tomorrow. Will pop up my list before I leave, if I get the chance.

Off to bed now! Have a good night, girls. And those that are going to the pub... please have one for me! :D

Hev - well done on selling the house so quickly!

Just got tomorrow to do and then I'm off for 6 weeks. I've spent this evening making cakes for the kids to take to school tomorrow and some for me to take - did the gluten free ones first to make sure nothing got contaminated but they never seem to turn out as nice as my normal cakes - I don't know whether the flour makes a difference. Want to do some of Twinks hobnobs but I've got an apple crumble in at the moment which won't be done until 10 so I'm thinking I'll perhaps do them in the morning!

I've got to clean the kitchen though as the kids helped me to make the first batch of cakes for them so there's stuff everywhere. I suppose I should be doing that now really.

Been to Tesco on a wasted journey this evening as I was supposed to be collecting a giftcard for work but they have to ring up first to organise the collection (it's a gift from them to the school) and they hadn't, so I couldn't collect it. Ended up spending nearly £30 in there when I hadn't needed to go really!

Okay, I suppose I ought to make a start on the kitchen.

    Catch you in a bit
