My PVR is currently playing up - any good deals on twin tuner PVRs at the moment? I could probably nurse my current one on a little longer, but think it's due to visit the repair shop in the sky...

Be carefull with the Thomson Top up box at moment. I have TUTV box and have been happy with the box until a few days ago. I recently did a rescan for programmes and though it found all frequencies and programmes during the scan (6 frequencies and 90 programmes) only 19 programmes are available when you go into programme guide. It appears that the signal from some of the transmitting stations has been changed recently but unfortunately the signal is now not compatible with all freeview boxes and the Thomson TUTV box may be one thats affected.

thanks - got a thomson box from ebay for not very much (there seems to be a rash of them going cheap at the moment...) So, I've got it cheap and pretty fast - just the little matter of if it's right now
