There's no such thing as a free lunch - you have to pay for 3 nights accomodation - still if you fancy a short trip....

have you seen the price they charge at their hotels and you have to pay the airport tax!!! - Great if you can afford it but I think I could get a better deal paying for the flights myself (i.e Ryanair for 99p)and choosing a hotel thats a lot cheaper. Looks good - but too dear for me

Please DON'T post misleading headings - the flights are NOTHING like free for the reasons Kazzea pointed out - and indeed, you realise this yourself with the wording of your post.
If you have to post deals like this, which are basically rubbish, please, please, give the right heading e.g. "Spend £18 at CD-WOW and pay £££ for flights with rip-off accommodation".
They don't even guarantee flight availability. All the companies offering this sort of deal do, is to go online and find a cheap flight. If they can't get one cheap enough, they tell you there is no availability. You don't gain a thing compared to booking the cheap flight yourself, and the accommodation at less than half the price they quote.0 -
i tried this a while back, it's A CRAP offer.
ended up opening a sainsburys credit card and going with their free flight offers, cost me £170 all in for flights and a hotel for 3 nights in prague!money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I dont blame you barginunter and I'm sorry you were treated this way.
I tried a while ago to get cheep flights to Prauge and none went directly there. And if you want the three nights to be Fri, Sat, Sun (the most expensive on cheep flights) then this could work out a lot cheeper..0 -

It's no wonder people are hesitant to post offers when they get responses like this.

Well, good too. It would help if people thought about what they posted before they post things which are not good deals at all. And there have been endless numbers of threads about "free" flights which aren't - these promotions with tied in accommodation requirements really are the lowest of the low and have no intrinsic value at all.0

Hi,
To be honest there are two sides to this coin. It can be misleading to post that offers like this are 'free' when there are often tie ins or fees that can actually lead to them being quite expensive. However please remember "Be nice to other MoneySavers". In most cases people are posting with the best of intentions and the last thing we want to do is get into the situation where they are hesitant to post. This could mean we all miss out on true bargains.0
