Blair Drummond Safari Park?

My mum's been staying at mine for the weekend because my boyfriend has left me, sooo decided I needed something to do to cheer me up. But everything I've read about Blair Drummond seems to be people saying it's brilliant for the kids, it'll just be me and my mum, if she wants to go.

It's a mission to get there, and probably cost a lot, so don't want to go if it's more kid orientated and not too good for adults. Would be good if the train website would open so I could work out prices!

We can go for the day one time over the weekend in a couple of weeks. We need to plan it beforehand though, not just a spur of the moment thing x

Don't mean to butt in but it's a fantastic day out at the Safari Park. If you go to their website you can print off a ticket that entitles 1 child to go free with a full paying adult. When me and hubby went we printed of 2 of these tickets and he went in a paid for him and one of our boys and then I went in and paid for me and out other boy.

Also you can get their minibus which takes you around the park. The bus is great as it allows you to get closer to the animals than you can get if you are in a car and it also doesn't cost you anything to go on it (included in entrance fee).

Yea I seen about the free child ticket. Just don't have any kids to take :p

I was thinking the bus might be a bit rubbish really because you can't choose when you stay and look at something or when you go...?

I actually quite enjoyed it on the bus. Like I said they actually take you off the road that the cars can go on. They do stay in the areas long enough for you to take pictures and such. If you want to hang about a bit longer I am sure the driver would oblige.

I want Drea to pet the lions :P Only joking hehe. Yep should be a good day, whenever we get around to going. I was thinking about it and last time I was there was about 19 years ago!! Drea can't even remember going cos she was only about 2 at the time.
