Aussieonabudget - I have only started making my OH come with me since my stupid council decide to charge for parking on Sundays and Bank holidays.
Before they used to charge Mon - Sat. I do not pay for parking during the week as i walk from work to the gym and then back to work to get my car.
I then used to go the gym on a Sunday cos of free parking, i refuse to pay as i am only at the gym for 30 mins and it charges by the hour. So hmmmm since they decided to charge on Sundays now as a rough guess i've saved £12 from having him sit in the car for 30 mins. (i wouldn't mind the charge IF majority of the shops were open, 99% are closed, town is pretty much dead on a Sunday)
He doesn't mind, he reads the paper or takes a book with him and then we go and do food shopping afterwards.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160
