What's This Called & Where Can I Get It Done? Rings with balls in them!

Hi All,
I am a newly wed of exactly one week!
My hubby's wedding band is now needs a slight adjustment. The problem is, is that he has large knuckles and slim fingers so the size he has now goes over the knuckle but spins round on his fingers once in place. If he got the ring made smaller it wouldn't fit over his knuckle.
He was talking to a lady last week and she advised him of her own ring which had 2 semi circles welded inside her ring. She had artheritis and this helped her get her rings off sore joints yet fitted snugly once on her finger.
Problem is we don't know what it's called and every time i've tried different searches on the internet it comes up with all sorts of weird and wonderful things but not what we are looking for.
Can you help or suggest alternatives?
Thanks for reading x

you normally just add them on aftewards to which ever ring you have. Any decent jewellery maker will be able to add them for you. i.e. avoid your H Samuels and that and find someone in yellow pages who actually makes jewellery to order, they'll know just what you want0
