Where can I buy a decorative throw/quilt

Its my 14yr old grandaughters birthday and I have promised to get her one of those pretty decorative throw/quilt for her bed you know the ones I mean they are sometimes, embroidered or made of pretty different coloured squares or patches.. . I recently bought one from Homebase for my own bed but they only do doubles and I need a single one.. I found some in next but they had no singles in stock either... she wants purple just to make things more difficult.
I want one that she can have on the end of her bed on top of her duvet.they sometimes come with a matching pillow too..

My sister has a silky dark purple one with matching cushion from primark she got them a year or so ago but I'm sure I've seen them in store not so long ago, if not have you tried bhs? they have a sale on all the home stuff at the moment.
maybe you could have a go at making one yourself or use a table runner (lots in bhs sale) to create the same effect.
    Hope that helps! :A
