I'm happy to tell you my secret.....
well, not really a secret but majority of my wins have been on local radio stations.
My recent win, to New York, was on the radio station Total Kiss. When I first got through the DJ said he liked my voice.
The key is to be bubbly and excited when u speak to the DJ as he will want to put you on air. Remember, he doesn't care who he gives the prize too, but he does care who he puts on air.
If you sound boring, the listeners wont be entertained.
I guess the key is to ring as soon as you have the number and the comp opens.
I have never entered comps where you have to pay.
