I want a Sony LCD Television

I've noticed that the Sony KDL40V3000 40" HD Ready Television has been reduced to £649 in Currys.
Has anyone seen this any cheaper? I could also get an extra 4% cashback on it via cashbackkings.
Also, does anyone think I should hold out for abit longer, with all the sales/credit crunch etc?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
If this is on the wrong forum, can someone please move it, thanks.

Hi there, we recently got a new tv, and were loking at that tv too.
When it comes to tv's, its a long term investment and therefore I reccommend spending that little bit extra.
Afte rmuch deliberation, me and my dad, decided to go for a 40" panasonic LCD, tv, It's amazing!!!
Sony's are good, but I think panasonic is better.
However it really depends on your main use for them....tv?....gaming?
I also doubt, prices will go much lower, as they can't afford to sell them any lower as there is not much demand at the moment. As GCSE business studies taught me....low demand....low supply....and a high price.
You could either get one now, or wait until this depression has subsided?
Hope this helps!!
