Food chopper/Kenwood Chef dilemma: help pls!To cut a long story short:

I need a food processor/chopper thingy to make things like fishcakes, pesto, etc
I have a Kenwood Chef A701 with pretty much all the accesories.
I also have a Kenwood Chef A901 with no accessories which I have no real use for and am thinking of flogging.
Ideally I would like the Kenwood Chef food processing attachment but it only exists for the A901 series.
I have 3 options:
- buy the KC food processor attachment and keep both the 901 and the 701. (would feel silly having to Kenwood Chefs!)
- buy a standalone food processor (would mean having yet another gadget
and to be honest I really want the KC food processor attachment)
- sell the 701  and all the accessories and buy the accessories for the 901 including the processor (a lot of trouble)
Any advice welcome!!

First off - are you sure that the food processor would fit your A901? It does not fit them all.
Surely it would be cheaper to buy a separate food processor than mess about selling your 701 and then collecting the attachments for the 901?0 -
I've just bought a new food processor after seriously contemplating a Kenwood with the processor attachment. When I looked at the kenwoods though I thought the food processor was way too small. I gave up on the idea -I like mixing by hand or with my electric hand-mixer anyway.
I plumped for this in the end, I paid more than £196 for it though:rolleyes:
So I guess it depends how big a food processor you need.

Thanks for your input.
after doing some thinking I've opted for a KitchenAid KFC3100 for about £30 (from the US)
It'll do just what I want and not the other bits like dough kneading, beating etc which I use my beloved Kenwood Chef for.
I'm hoping the KitchenAid is a good investment that will outlive me!"Finish each day And be done with it.

I gave away my Morphy Richards mini food processor when I bought my new Kenwood Chef and I really regret it! I love my KC but the food processor is way too small and fiddly. Flog the A901 and get a Morphy Richards Pulse!
