Powdered food colouring

Does anyone know where i can get powdered food colouring from?

I've not seen any in the shops when i've bought my liquid food colouring, DH wants some to use for fishing.

    there should be a cake making shop or kitchen shop in your area somewhere i`d suggest trying there, have a look in the yellow pages or google it, ring before you go to save wasting your time if they dont sell.

    :) I've never seen it, only liquids and pastes which I use. But, I have to know what does your OH do with it when fishing ?

    I have seen it in shops that specialise in selling kitchen items, and bakery tins etc...or maybe try ebay?

    He wants it as he makes his own baits up and appearently the fish are attracted to the colours.

    I have now had a look on ebay and have a found a shop on there that sell it and am now going to see if i have any luck with Lakelands.

    I'm fascinated - firstly I'd never heard of edible food powder, and secondly I didn't know fish could see in colour!!! Just a thought - are the brightly coloured powders Indian communities use to throw about during Holi edible - or at least non-toxic to people/fish?
  • Yes, there's a guy on ebay that sells it called kitchen-chemistry. It works out a lot cheaper than liquid colouring.

    when google's results page brings you into the site, it doesn't warn you how old the page is. If google thinks it's relevent, then thats the page you get.
