Cashback Junction

Has anyone used Cashback Junction? How long did it take between requesting payment and receiving?

I just wondered if nearly a month is a normal length of time to wait!

I found this from the help section of the website:

"Simply request a payment and your payment will be processed on our next payment run. Payments are made every other Wednesday."

Which suggests I really should have been paid by now.

Any thoughts folks?

    Hi

I must admit I have tried to contact them 4 times about a query dating back to April. They refuse to respond. I am now posting as many comments informing people not to use them as I can - a con!!!!

Thank you for replying. I'm really gutted about this!

I used the cashback sites maximiser tool on this site, after finding the cheapest car insurance, and came up with this one. I should have got £22 through cashback junction. I could have got £20 through Quidco at the time, and then I actually would have been paid it!

I too have attempted contact with them. Let it be a warning to you everyone - please don't use them!

So i'm not the only one then!

I too requested a payment of £20 way back in 4th June and it is still showing as pending. I've tried emailing but get no reply. I've also got another £30 due soon.......bet i don't get that either.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Never ever will use them again

What worries me is that they are one of the sites listed on the cashback maximiser - which could mean that other people get in our situation.

I have just sent off another email to Cashback Junction.

    I requested a payment of £35.96 on 18th June 2008.

    I've still received nothing.

Has anybody out there received a payment from them?

Spooky-was just about to ask the same question. Ditto your situation-have just sent off another, not so polite this time, email to them requesting they pay me asap. Anyone know if we can do anything about this, legally or through any official body? I would also be interested to know if anyone has ever had any money out of them or even a reply to an email!
  • I bought two car insurance policies via Cashback Junction back in March 2008. I should have got no less than £45 for each. I have received nothing and though have sent many emails have never received a reply. The missing transaction has been 'acknowledged' by CBJ though I have never had any proper response.

I contacted Co-operative Insurance whose offer I was taking advantage of and they just didn't want to know - could not find anyone who knew about the offer there and they just said it's up to CBJ to pay me.

Have just about given up hope but a loss of £90 is hard to swallow, especially when I have used Quidco easily and successfully for other transactions.
  • By the way I found this address for the company - haven't written yet but might do so...

Lots of people having problems with this site - see posts 26 onwards on this thread.

  • Thought I would let you know I received a cheque from CBJ this morning for nearly £60. I had given up any hope of getting it as I first asked for it back in May. I requested the cash for the 2nd time about 3 weeks ago but still didn't expect them to pay up after reading the comments on this site. If you are still owed cash, I would advise you to visit the site again and request the payment again. It worked for me so you never know, it might work for you as well. Good Luck.
