its no like england here.. ya know, you guys go to the chippie and have a choice of about 50 different fish.. cod, haddock, sole, plaice and whatever like.
up here its fish, or fish and chips (fish supper)

I'm originally from a bit further north than you! But have not lived there for many years. When I was up visiting I was like..can I have fish and chips open please? They were like what? Its a fish supper!!!
