Well you know I said recently that I hadn't been able to make my CCCS payment well after looking at it I realise that I may have been a bit tight on my budget and not left myself enough lee way. I start college in 11 days which is going to mean an extra £16.50 a week in busfares alone, not to mention needing stationary and books etc. I only get £100 a week and I have to pay rent and food and a loan my nan got me out of that as well as all the other bills so it looks like I am going to have no other option to go bankrupt and I didnt really wanna do that. :( xx

    awww...carp....BUT...on the bright side !!! :-

    1. can you get a student buspass/travelcard/thing which reduces the cost of the journeys??

    2. find someone on the course who may be willing to give you a lift for a small petrol contribution? (or someone in the same college, but as 2nd choice-same course = same attendance hours in theory)

    3. use a USB stick to take your work into college and print out on their printers :D

    4. lots of people used to sell their textbooks on to future students...can you finfd out if the college operate a kind of book exchange/second-hand scheme??

These may not add up to much, but anything may help stave off the bankrupcy...gotta be worth a look

    1. can you get a student buspass/travelcard/thing which reduces the cost of the journeys?? - At 21 I am too old for any half fare pass or anything, however the £16.50 is including a discounted student monthly card.

    2. find someone on the course who may be willing to give you a lift for a small petrol contribution? (or someone in the same college, but as 2nd choice-same course = same attendance hours in theory) I am doing 3 different courses so this won't really work. Some days I am in until 6pm other days I finish by 11am.

    3. use a USB stick to take your work into college and print out on their printers :DThey charge you to print out in the college library!!!!

    4. lots of people used to sell their textbooks on to future students...can you finfd out if the college operate a kind of book exchange/second-hand scheme?? The books I need for my english course needs to be brand new really as I need to make my own notes in them.

These may not add up to much, but anything may help stave off the bankrupcy...gotta be worth a look

I originally was advised I needed to go bankrupt by national debtline but I really wanted to avoid it so had a play with figures and ended up getting figures that cccs deemed acceptable.
