She's a lurcher from a rescue home.
One of my mates used to have 2 rescued lurchers, his OH was a vet nurse and took them on when they came in in a bad state.
I have a rescue cat and though it has taken 18 months to get him from hiding in a corner at any noise or movement to coming up beside me on the sofa (still not really one for cuddles) it is so worthwhile seeing the change in him from then to now and so rewarding.Real Men Do Cry - Even This Scotsman

Hey bubs, I have no idea. OH had it for dinner and brought home what she left. When I got in I asked what that horrible smelling thing was, now, just finished the best meal of my life :rotfl:0 -
I know what you mean about the changes. When Honey first came to live with me she was very quiet and timid but I see her getting braver every day. Whenever we are out she trys new things and it's lovely to watch. The only thing so far is that she is scared of other dogs but we're working on it.
