My new (almost) laptop has arrived at GF's so I'm gonna have to put stuff from here onto disk etc and start trying to rebuild my sad pathetic virtual life on yet another pooter. If I'm not about about later you know I've added a Sony Vaio to the great laptop graveyard that is my airing cupboard. I got it from ebay raaaather cheap, so wish me luck!
On a positive note I just finished my OU assignment - driving 30 miles to deliver it by today. Also found 50p in the car to go towards the GA auction. I've signed up for an email when it begins. I've got nearly a fiver - wonder how much a sock is?

Right guys, as some of you may already know, Weller lost her lovely husband early hrs of this morning. There is a thread of condolance for her and her family that has been made a sticky at the top of the DFW board. Smashed, thankyou for letting us know about weller's tragic news, I missed her post last night, but have just come from the thread and now can hardly see to type.
It is so sad, but also very heartening to know we all have such great support here from our "virtual family".
That so many can come together to offer love and support at times like this is truly amazing xx

Evening all, I just was popping through to look at a PM and saw Weller's awful news. The poor love.

Life is just too damn short and hard sometimes, but I take comfort in the fact she'll be getting loads of support from everyone here.

Aside from that, I hope everyone is ok.
