Thanks Piglet and Poorandindenial. I pretended to my family I wasn't going on holiday through choice. They know about my debt but think its my fault, it is I suppose but at least we all are trying to do something about it!

My boyfriend and I were planning on doing one of those cheap days out featured in the site maybe Alton Towers or something.

It might be worth checking out local moneysaving to see if there are any events coming up in yoru area

betti - there are loads of 2-4-1 offers around for ATowers, legoland, seaworld, etc.,...couple these with some of the cut-price rooms at premierinn and travelodge and you can do weekends pretty cheaply. Get rooting and bag a bargain or two !!

unusually for all of them they were very well behaved. We have been together for two and a half years and it was starting to get ridiculous and he was starting to get really annoyed about it so I bit the bullet.

Sorry Jack and Betti missed you out - hope you are both ok!

Poor - congrats on the new nephew and even more so on OH meeting the parents! I think my parents met my OH in the delivery room - I'd managed to avoid it before then!

Betti - sorry bout the hols - days out can be just as nice and dont necessarily break the bank - in the meantime head over to the comps board and enter all the comps winning a holiday or short break - you never know you might get lucky! x x
