Thanks Piglet - tbh I'm ok. He has always worked nights so I try not to think about the dangers too much or I'd go mad with worry. The last time was much worse and it was the hospital that phoned me - he ended up having the best part of a year off and still suffers memory loss becuase of the head injuries (and it provides an excellent excuse when he 'forgets' important stuff!) - this time he phoned to say he was on his way to the station to give a statement so I knew he was ok. My dad is a fireman and my brother is a policeman so have kind of grown up learning that you cant think about things too much if that makes sense. Im waffling now arent I! x x

    Aww Penguin...not waffling at all.

When something like this happens it suddenly brings crashing to the forefront the worries you've been tryng your best to put to the back of your mind as you've learnt to live with them over the years. You're entitled to a bit of a wibble..or waffle ..but only if you want. ..:grouphug:

    Hugs to you

Thanks Kika - when he phoned the police they had already spotted it on CCTV and where on their way - they were great and phoned this afternoon to say they were keeping him in until tomorrow (he assaulted the police officer who was arresting him as well). OH is fine about it and has gone into work quite happily tonight x x

 Omg, i am glad he is ok..what does he do?if you don't mind me asking.

    Hello everyone by the way.
