Went to the main Co-Op in the village where I live to get Stilton cheese to go in home made Broccoli soup, damnation they had run out (it was £1.89) so I went to the smaller Co-op just down the road and it was on the shelf there at 89pence !!! Went to the till but it came up at £1.89 so I politely pointed out that it was on display at 89p and got it for the display price !!! Now what to do with the£1.00 I save ??

I also went to Asda today, and got some bargains. I spent a total of £9.18 but bought all things that I would buy anyway.

I normally buy Shredded Wheat x27 at £206. Today they had the x18 with 100% extra free, selling at £1.52 x36. I bought three boxes, so spent £4.56 for x108 instead of £8.24 (4 x27). So I saved £3.68!

Then I saved £1.70 on Splenda sweetener.

I also bought milk, Ryvita and some budgie food.

    Total saving £5.44.

I think this should go on another thread, but please forgive me (this time).

    :T
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
