i am going to be phoning a debt help company today, i have 2 in mind but would appreciate your help on which one to use, they are a company called payplan and consumer councilling service i think they are basically the same

Payplan seem to have less of a backlog, I know people who called CCCS at the same time as I called payplan. They're still waiting for their appointments whilst I've had mine and my IVA is being set up. Both equally good though from what I've heard.0

with payplan at the moment and they seem to have a better agreement with major lenders, a lot do support them so your offer more likely to be accepted. went with CCCS initially and they ended me up with a charging order. Basically they offered Northern Rock the lowest amount on the highest debt because was a loan over a long period of time - because NR didnt like seing their name at bottom of list with highest debt tehy took court action - CCCS said ignore them as nothing they could do but ended me up with CCJ and charging order - thanks CCCS!!! Payplan told me they should have pro rated against debt size not length of agreement.0
