Require cheap fares on Euro Tunnel

Hi
there was a thread a few weeks ago, giving a link for cheap day return fares for Eurotunnel (£19 return)...i was wondering if anybody could help me on this as i cannot find this anymore?

If i recall correctly, it was only during week days and ended at the end of september.

If there are any new offers out there, I too would love to know!

Hi, just checked the web site and cheapest is £49 each way. The new policy seems to be no offers and permanent cheaper fares for travelling off peak.
Great way to get cheap Eurotunnel tickets is via Tesco vouchers. £25 of vouchers will get you there and back!
Would be really interested to hear if anyone can get it cheaper than £49 as I would really love a trip to France before Xmas and I have just had to spend all my Tescos vouchers on break down cover!

Best I can find is £40 return for a day trip, you can stay over until the next day for the same price. This is from the Eurotunnel site, go to the passenger bookings page and put in your dates and it comes up with the price. They do seem to have done away with the afternoon and evening special fares and have also put the fares up by £10 return in the last week, I suppose they are trying to cash in on the pre Christmas rush but may bring them back down if bookings drop off, so could be worth checking regularly.
