Note from Martin

For those that haven't played before, just go in and register as a member and you can play straight away. It's free to join. Find your nearest Gala Bingo using the website's Club Finder. There's more info about the Free Bingo day on the Gala website here.

I must admit I wrestled slightly with including this. Bingo is of course gambling, then again free gambling is a chance at free cash. I'm not oppossed to gambling per se, but think real care is needed. There is of course a gambling loopholes section in this forum, but that's about risk free gambling - therefore I decided this was fun and free and should stay in. However please be careful, always plan how much you will spend however you gamble.

  • Thanks, I haven't been for ages, have to get all my pals together for this one.
  • Mecca are doing something similar:

Mecca Bingo clubs across the UK are aiming for a full house this month with an exciting change to a long-standing gambling law. The changes mean new members no longer have to join 24 hours before playing – they can now simply join a club and get cracking with a game.

And for people who have never tried their hand at bingo there is no time like the present. Mecca Bingo is so confident that visitors will enjoy their first game that it has taken the pioneering step of putting a guarantee on it.

During October bingo virgins can visit their local Mecca club and try the game that over 5 million Britons already know and love. If people don’t enjoy their first experience they will get their money back.

All 117 Mecca clubs around the country are encouraging bingo virgins to visit them with friends and family to try their luck. There’s even a special ‘sharing’ menu to ensure people can experience every aspect of the club.

Amy Collier, PR Manager at Mecca Bingo comments: It’s never been easier for people who’ve never tried bingo before to come in and have a go – especially with the removal of the 24-hour rule. As of 1st October people can simply come in and get started straight away!

“Bingo is definitely a great night out. You can come in and have a couple of drinks and some food before settling down to a few games. And don’t forget there are loads of fantastic prizes up for grabs!”Mecca’s sharing menu includes combo buckets, Pic ‘n’ Poppin Chicken and Diddy Donuts, not to mention the bar offers on buckets of drinks.

My partner works there and she has had people come back asking for a refund.... no questions asked at all.....
If the world is a stage... I want better lighting!
